Liberty Tax Service Makes Offer to Support March for Babies(R)
Liberty Tax Service customers who donate $50 or more at participating locations* to the March of Dimes on March 27 will get their 2008 taxes prepared for free.
Funds raised will support March for Babies, the annual event from the March of Dimes that helps give every baby a healthy start in life. For the second year, Liberty Tax Service is a national sponsor of the March for Babies. In its first year, they became the 15th top corporate fundraising team for the event overall.
“This is a tremendous offering by Liberty Tax — serving the community through its generous support of March of Dimes work to fund research, help moms, and support families,” said Jennifer L. Howse, Ph.D., president of the March of Dimes. “Such commitment makes a measurable difference, and continues the March of Dimes legacy of neighbor helping neighbor. Liberty Tax is again showing its priority to do ‘good in the neighborhood.’”

The nation’s oldest and best-loved annual walking event, March for Babies, will take place this spring in more than 900 communities in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
Liberty Tax Service is helping to spread awareness and provide opportunities for the community to get involved with March for Babies. In addition to the Free Tax Day on March 27th, donations are being accepted at Liberty Tax offices throughout the tax season.
