The Women FORE! Women charity golf invitational at Fox Hills Country Club in Plymouth, Mich., held on August 14, 2008, raised nearly $20,000 in revenue to benefit Vista Maria.

For over 125 years, Vista Maria has served young women and children from Southeast Michigan, helping them overcome past hardships and recover from histories of abuse, neglect and other traumas. Today, Vista Maria is Michigan’s largest private not-for-profit child welfare agency for girls and their families. The agency also offers therapeutic foster care and other community based programs to area boys and girls.

The Women FORE! Women golf outing was created by a group of professional and caring women who are inspired by the mission and goals of Vista Maria. The founding committee organized this event with the objective of introducing women from the Detroit Metropolitan area to Vista Maria and its women-focused cause.

“The event was a great success, helping to raise both monetary donations for our programs and awareness among the community for the mission of Vista Maria,” says Cameron Hosner, President and CEO. “We particularly appreciate the financial, in-kind and pro-bono work provided by our partners, such as NeoSynergy and ASG Renaissance.”

NeoSynergy Creative Director Todd Ridley developed all of the creative materials for the outing; NeoSynergy Chief Marketing Officer Patty Cox and ASG Renaissance CEO Beth Ardisana promoted the event and Vista Maria’s cause throughout their network of business contacts in Southeast Michigan.
