Global Teleseminar Series to Benefit Women Business Owners
Responding to the severe impact of the current economic collapse, the world’s top women transformational leaders have joined together for a teleseminar series called, “Women Supporting Women – Turning Crisis into Opportunity.” The program will be offered through www.Connected-Women.com, a global networking site for women in business and will benefit women entrepreneurs in Iceland, a country amongst the hardest hit by the global recession.
Janet Attwood, best-selling co-author of The Passion Test The Effortless Path to Discovering Your Life Purpose, and Runa Magnusdottir, CEO of Connected-Women.com, have created this series to give women the critical tools and principles needed to garner both personal and financial abundance.
The series will launch July 15, 2009, and proceeds will provide funding for women entrepreneurs in Iceland. “With the current economic crisis and Iceland’s specific financial collapse, about 70 percent of businesses in Iceland are technically bankrupt,” said Magnusdottir. “This has hit women business owners particularly hard.”
Presenters are two stars from the movie The Secret, Marci Shimoff and Lisa Nichols, along with the New York Times bestselling authors and transformational speakers Janet Attwood, Dr. Sue Morter, Lynne McTaggert, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Debra Poneman, Christine Comaford, Bobbi De Porter, Lynne Twist, Cynthia Kersey and Barbara De Angelis.
Attwood adds, “This teleseminar series will be the first of many directed to help women business owners in countries around the world that have suffered most from the current economic crisis.” Atwood and her co-author, Chris Attwood, also arranged interviews for The Secret movie.
